About this project

About Mathscify

MathScify Assessment is a research-based initiative that has been developed in line with the principles of universal design for learning. MathScify Assessment sets out to explore multiple ways of formatively assessing students’ performance in mathematics and science that have been found to foster creativity.

The project brief required a full brand development: colour pallet, logo, typography, website design and search engine optimisation (SEO), and some marketing collaterals.

Understanding the Vision

Every project comes with its unique challenges, and this one was no exception. My client approached me with a project idea but without a clear layout or detailed specifications. She knew the essence of what she wanted to achieve but found it difficult to articulate the specifics. This is where my expertise and intuitive approach came into play.

My Approach

1. Deep Listening: I began by engaging in extensive discussions with my client to understand her goals, preferences, and the core message she wanted to convey. By asking the right questions and paying close attention to her responses, I gathered valuable insights into her vision.

2. Conceptualisation: With an in-depth understanding of her needs, I moved to the conceptual phase. I brainstormed and developed several design concepts that could potentially align with her vision. This stage was crucial as it allowed us to explore various creative directions.

3. Iterative Design: I presented the initial concepts to the client, incorporating her feedback at every step. This iterative process ensured that I was moving closer to a design that truly resonated with her.

4. Refinement and Execution: Once a concept was selected, I refined and polished the design, paying close attention to every detail. I ensured that the final design was not only visually appealing, but also functional and aligned with the project's objectives.

The Solution

The result was a stunning design that perfectly captured my client's vision. By leveraging my expertise and keen understanding of design principles, I created a layout that was both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Key Features

  • Intuitive Layout: The final design features a clean and intuitive layout that enhances user experience and engagement.

  • Visual Appeal: High-quality visuals and a cohesive colour scheme create an attractive and professional look.

  • Functionality: Thoughtfully designed elements ensure that the project serves its intended purpose effectively.

Client Satisfaction

My client's satisfaction is a testament to my ability to deliver exceptional results, even in the face of ambiguity. She was thrilled with the outcome, and her positive feedback reinforces my commitment to understanding and exceeding my clients' expectations.

Brand Identity

MathScify Assessment is a research-based initiative that has been developed in line with the principles of universal design for learning. MathScify Assessment sets out to explore multiple ways of formatively assessing students’ performance in mathematics and science that have been found to foster creativity.

Understanding the Brand

1. Discovery Phase: My journey began with understanding the core values, mission, and vision of my client's brand. Through in-depth discussions and research, I gathered insights into what makes her brand unique and the message she wanted to convey.

2. Target Audience: Identifying and understanding the target audience was crucial. I analysed the demographic and psychographic characteristics of her ideal customers to ensure the brand identity would appeal to them effectively.

Designing the Identity

1. Logo Design: A logo is the face of a brand. I designed a logo that encapsulates the brand’s essence, combining visual appeal with symbolic meaning. The logo is versatile, memorable, and reflective of the brand’s core values.

2. Colour Palette: Colours evoke emotions and set the tone for a brand. I selected a colour palette that aligns with the brand’s personality and appeals to the target audience. Each colour was chosen carefully to convey the right emotions and create a cohesive visual identity.

3. Typography: The choice of fonts plays a significant role in brand perception. I selected typography that complements the brand’s voice, ensuring readability and consistency across all platforms.

4. Visual Elements: Beyond the logo and colours, I developed additional visual elements such imagery styles that support the brand’s identity and enhance its visual appeal.

Implementation

With the brand identity established, I seamlessly integrated it into all aspects of the client’s project. From the website design to marketing materials, every element reflects the newly crafted brand identity, creating a unified and professional appearance.

Client Feedback

My client was delighted with the new brand identity, appreciating how it accurately reflected her vision and connected with her target audience. Her positive feedback highlights my commitment to delivering exceptional and tailored branding solutions.
